About Us
HJO Developments was formed in January 2019 by Christopher Jenkins and Simon Orr. It saw the formalisation of a silent partnership between JDF Developments Ltd (Chris) and Hector Design Ltd (Simon).
Both Chris and Simon have previously served a total of over 52 years between them in HM Forces and bring significant strategic, operational and managerial oversight along with a wide remit of project management skills to HJO Developments. Both individuals have worked within seriously pressured environments both in and outside the military since leaving it in 2016.
Simon has worked at Director level for over 10 years within the Army and then latterly the NHS and Charity sector before setting up HJO Developments, whilst Chris has been building and renovating houses professionally for over 20 years as a Director of JDF Developments Ltd.
On leaving the Army in 2015, Chris concentrated primarily on luxury flat and house conversions within the London area. His final project before leaving London to return home to South West Wales, was the build of four terraced houses, a build that won both him (as main contractor) and the developer national recognition within the construction industry.

Chris and Simon have now completed several successful client bespoke builds and major renovations alongside HJO’s own residential developments within Wales. Earning multiple build quality and design awards, the standard of their builds is testament to the quality of their work, their eye for detail, and the professionalism that HJO Developments brings to any project no matter how big or small.
