Quite a lot has happened in the last 6 months or so as you can see from the pictures. Work has progressed fast and the house as gone up and the roof is on and fully tiled along with its PV additions. Photos to follow on that but we think the slate looks fantastic.
The windows have also gone in. The UPVC ones at the front of the house were supplied by Pritchards in Swansea, whilst the aluminium framed ones at the back have been supplied and fitted by Aspect Aluminium who have done a fabulous job. Photos to follow on these in the near future.
Electrical first fix has been completed and the plumbing first fix commences this week. All of the boarding has been completed and the plasterers are in and working hard to get the building skimmed out and the bathrooms ready for tiling and second fixing.
The feature fireplace has almost been completed and the tilers are booked into commence the tiling of the ground floor within the next week. So its a busy time for all with the team wanting to get as much done by Christmas as possible prior to a very short festive break for the workforce.
The house though is certainly starting to take shape as is the Garden Room that our clients have asked us to build at the bottom of their garden; one that will provide great views for them over the beautiful Gower countryside and across the sea when it is completed.
